Environment and Community Policy

Cygnet Resources is committed to operate in a manner that protects the values of the natural and social environments

in which it operates.

 

To achieve this, we will:

 

ASSESS & MANAGE ENVIRONMENTAL RISK:

Through the identification and control any risk to the Environment in all aspects of planning and operations utilising a documented risk assessment process.

 

MINIMISE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:

By employing exploration methods that seek to avoid or minimise Environmental impacts. We will work with the communities in which we operate with the aim of achieving mutually acceptable rehabilitation outcomes.

 

RESPECT STAKEHOLDER’S INTEREST:

By considering the rights, beliefs and concerns of landholders and all other parties that have a legitimate interest in our exploration activities. 

 

TRAIN & EDUCATE:

By providing all employees with appropriate environmental training and awareness programs.

 

PROMOTE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.

Through implementing a regular inspection, auditing and monitoring program we will evaluate our environmental performance, while seeking continuous improvement.

 

COMMUNICATE OUR PERFORMANCE:

Annually, we will communicate our environmental aims and objectives to our employees, contractors and relevant stakeholders.

 

FULFIL OUR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS:

As a minimum, conduct our operations in compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, best practice and community expectations.
