Director
Neil Norris is a geologist with a broad experience base in metalliferous mining and exploration in Australia and overseas through a career spanning over 35 years in a variety of management positions and mineral deposits including but not limited to;

Executive Director of an ASX mineral explorer for over 10 years,

Geology Manager and Regional Exploration Manager for over 10 years with mid-tier ASX listed companies. Chief Geologist at both open cut (New Celebration, W.A.) and underground gold mines (Wattle Gully, Vic.).

Key member of management team through exploration, development, construction and mining at two gold mines (New Celebration and Fosterville).

Extensive exploration experience in a range of geological terrains including; Yilgarn (Archaean) and Telfer (Proterozoic) goldfields in Western Australia, Lachlan Fold Belt in Victoria and NSW, North West Mineral Province (Proterozoic) base metal and gold projects.

Mr Norris has a solid track record in successful identification of mineral deposits and his experience will significant advance Cygnet’s exploration efforts.
Geoff Dean
Director
Mr Geoff Dean completed a First Class Honours degree from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2000. Mr Dean has almost 20 years’ experience in green and brownfields mineral exploration for a variety of commodities throughout Australia and in SE Asia with a strong focus on gold exploration.
Mr Dean is employed full-time (since 2011) as Regional Exploration Manager with GBM Resources Limited, a Perth-based ASX-listed company with gold projects in Queensland and Victoria. Prior to GBM he managed the regional exploration program for Northgate’s Fosterville gold project in central Victoria and worked as Project Geologist with Rio Tinto for iron ore and with Iluka Resources for mineral sands.
